Did you know Visit Franklin publishes a Visitor Guide every year? It’s the best and first place to begin planning an adventure to Williamson County and Franklin, Tennessee.

One of my favorite things about my job as the Marketing Coordinator is working on it. I don’t mean to brag, but I think this is our best one yet! Don’t believe me? See for yourself!

Local talent Daphne & The Mystery Machines were kind enough to lend us their story to share with visitors. Daphne & The Mystery Machines are one of Franklin, Tennessee’s most beloved bands. You can catch them all around town at places like Kimbro’s Pickin’ Parlor and Puckett’s in Leiper’s Fork.

Brand New Attractions, Eateries, and Hotels

2016 was a huge year of growth for Williamson County! We’re excited to welcome new attractions like Mill Creek Brewing Company and The Little Brick Theatre to our roster of things to do while you’re here. Mill Creek Brewing, located in Nolensville, offers tours and tastings Friday from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday from 3-7 p.m. The Little Brick Theatre is sure to be your new favorite events space! From improv shows to live music, The Little Brick Theatre is serving up all sorts of entertainment in an intimate space.

Oh, did we mention all the great food that we have here in Williamson County? With the growth of Berry Farms, we’ve gained some new deliciousness in the form of Whit’s Frozen Custard and Soulshine Pizza! I mean honestly, what’s better than a meal that starts with pizza and ends with custard?

Distilleries Galore!

Heath Clark at H Clark Distillery is featured in the ‘Vibe’ section of our Visitor uide. If you haven’t heard his story or visited his distillery, H Clark Distillery in Thompson’s Station, drop everything you’re doing and go there now. Heath has such a passion for what he does and a love for our community – we’re so glad to share his story.

Leiper’s Fork Distillery opened in 2016 and has been producing high-quality spirits ever since! Stop by for a tour Tuesday-Saturday, and while you’re there, check out all the goodies in their gift shop (early 2017 Christmas shopping, anyone?)

New Accommodations

While you’re in town, you’ll probably need a place to lay your head. The brand new Home 2 Suites by Hilton is now open in Cool Springs and let me just tell you…it is beautiful! It’s modern and sleek and the perfect place for you to kick back and enjoy your vacation.

Looking for something off the beaten path? Check out Pot N’ Kettle Cottages, located in the heart of Leiper’s Fork! With three separate properties that are locally owned and operated, Pot N’ Kettle Cottages has something for everyone. If you’re anything like me, you love to “do what the locals do” when you visit a new city.
