Don’t Take Our Word For It, But This is the Best Ice Cream in Franklin

When it’s hot outside, ice cream IS the cure for coolness, of course, so we set out to find seven of the most mind-blowing places to get ice cream in Franklin!

From the giant windows on Main Street, Kilwins draws you in with a view of everything that makes the world a sweet, chocolate-filled place.

Once you make it past their amazing fudge and chocolates (try not to drool) you’ll find lots of ice cream flavors in serious need of sampling. We think three scoops is a good starting point.

Sweet CeCe’s

Frozen yogurt by the pound? Topping choices galore? At Sweet CeCe’s you can get as creative as you want with your concoctions.

The only real challenge is figuring out just how many toppings your froyo can hold?

Whit’s Frozen Custard

We know, we know… it’s not technically an ice cream, but trust us on this one. Whit’s makes their custard fresh daily and they always have the classics like chocolate and vanilla.

Die-hard custard lovers hold out for the exclusive flavor of the week. Your sweet tooth thanks you.

King’s Bowl

King’s Bowl is not your average bowling alley, and they definitely don’t serve your average ice cream. Just like they’ve stepped up the bowling experience, they take ice cream beyond heavenly.

Prepare to be wowed by the deliciousness, not to mention eye candy points make it worthy of an Instagram post.

No such thing as too much ice cream, right? Man vs. Food Nation doesn’t think so. Now it’s your turn. Finish the Comfy Cow Challenge: put away 15 scoops of ice cream, 10 cherries, four toppings, two types of nuts…all in just one hour! Do that and your treat is free. Bonus – – you’re a Comfy Cow legend forever!

Baskin Robbins

Classic. Nostalgic. It’s Baskin Robbins! Forever famous for their 31 flavors. They’re in downtown Franklin, so grab a cone or a milkshake to go and take a stroll down historic Main Street.
