Dickens of a Christmas

Dickens of a Christmas: Dec. 8-9

The Heritage Foundation of Williamson County is back with their incredible Dickens-inspired street festival to celebrate the holiday season. Musicians, dancers, and Dickens characters will fill the streets, along with vintage craft demonstrations, food trucks, live music, a kid’s zone, and SNOW!

Leiper’s Fork Christmas Parade: Dec. 15

Bring the family to a wacky, almost world-famous, Christmas parade in the charming village of Leiper’s Fork! From tractors and floats to donkeys, mules, and pigs… you never know what you might run across in this parade, except, of course, Santa!

Holiday Storytime

Holiday story time at the Visitor Center: Dec. 1, 8 & 15

Santa, the Polar Express Conductor, and Buddy the Elf are all headed to the Visitor Center in downtown Franklin for story time! Bring the kids to enjoy a story at 9:15 a.m., and then head over to the Franklin Theatre to see a corresponding holiday movie afterward!

Franktown’s Festival of Lights: Through Dec. 29

Check out Franktown’s Festival of Lights at the Williamson County Ag Center, featuring thousands of sparkling holiday lights! Enjoy more than 50 light displays from the comfort of your car and tune in to the radio to hear classic Christmas songs, synchronized with many of the light displays.
