So Fresh & So Clean Clean: Visit Franklin’s New Look
We’ve been working on something pretty special, just for you, here at VisitFranklin.com! You may have noticed we have a new look, and as the great poet – Outkast – once said, it looks so ‘fresh and so clean, clean!’
The new creative branding that you’ll see throughout not just this site, but everything we do, freshens up the look of our incredibly vibrant destination with whimsical imagery and partners it with storytelling reminiscent of a personal travel journal. Now we didn’t change everything, the new look retains the former name and logo but we are so happy to introduce a fresh, lighter color palate along with the use of a mixed media that combines the great photography you’ve come to know and love with some incredibly good illustrations from a local artist.
We’re pretty proud that over the years we’ve become a bit known as a trendsetter in destination marketing circles, and when we were searching for a creative agency partner with a similar trendsetting reputation we were lucky enough to find that right here in our backyard. We’ve been telling you for years the creativity in this area is next level, and finding the best in the nation right here just proves that even more. We partnered with Nashville-based creative agency GS&F.
Working together we embarked on an exhaustive evaluation of not only our previous branding but also current branding of travel destinations across the United States to identify the critical components of how to best convey the visitor experience in Franklin and throughout Williamson County in a fresh, innovative way.
The concept of the new look is grounded in the belief that what matters to you – the visitor – is what matters most and that no matter the activities you may be interested in, there is an offering for that in Williamson County. The visually appealing aspects of the campaign will be incorporated with a collection of actual stories from real travelers like you to Franklin and Williamson County. Those stories convey that memorable, and often unexpected experiences you can only find when you slow down and make real connections with a destination.
The eye-catching illustrations you’ve seen throughout the website were created by local artist Kayla Stark and feature iconic landmarks from across Williamson County, as well as everyday favorites from local restaurants, shops, and attractions just like you might scratch them into your travel journal.
Speaking of those travel memories, we still want to hear more! If you haven’t yet, share your favorite travel memories with us here, and as thanks, you’ll be entered for a chance to win an all-expenses-paid, VIP trip for two to Franklin!
