Your Ultimate Guide to #MakeThePilgrimage

The Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival is getting closer by the day, and frankly, it can’t get here soon enough in our opinion! Last year’s festival was over-the-top AMAZING and with the sweet lineup already announced, this year promises to be a high key experience. (Watch the video below if you don’t believe us) Here’s your ultimate guide to #MakeThePilgrimage.

First things first… Get your tickets!

Pilgrimage

If you don’t have your tickets yet, stop reading this and go here right now. Don’t worry, we’ll wait…..

Six live music stages…yep, six

Pilgrimage

From the Frye Midnight Sun and Fender Gold Record Road stages to the George Dickel Kimbro’s Harpeth River Stage, all packed with unbelievable talent. You’ll need your favorite picnic blanket for this.

The ASCAP City Winery stage is new this year spotlighting local talent, plus the Little Pilgrims stage returns again for the kiddos. And you foodies will be excited about the Kitchn-N-Tell stage food demos.

There’s an App for that

Download the Visit Franklin Mobile App!

If you’re travelin’ light and don’t want the brochure, stage schedule, and map to stuff in your bag (yeah, me either), be sure to download the Pilgrimage App today! In it, you can set your own schedule, find where to eat and drink plus keep up with all the updates during the festival.

While you’re at it, download the Visit Franklin App to help plan your trip, find a great place to stay and get around Franklin once you leave the festival… or even plan an extra-long weekend.

Come hungry

Pilgrimage

Pilgrimage IS about the music, but there’s more. The “Bazaar” features local restaurants, artisans, and merchants. Grab your grub and fill your cup from one of over 40 different options, then hang around the Kitch-N-Tell stage for demos by chefs and beverage makers.

Leave some extra room in that suitcase

Pilgrimage

Over 35 artisans and shops from around the region will be showing off their artwork and wearables. Trust us, it’s kinda like those trips to the store for “just one thing”, you’re gonna need an extra bag to carry it all.

Don’t miss football…or the craft beer

Marcus Mariota Tennessee Titans

We get it, this is the South and fall means football. Well, what if you combined giant TV’s with top college and NFL games…while sitting in a beer garden, sampling craft beers… at an awesome music festival? Now that’s a live setup you’ll find at Pilgrimage.

Be prepared for the weather

Pilgrimage

Warmish, coolish, sunny, raining (yes, we had a little last year)? So make a quick trip to the Visitor Center in downtown Franklin to pick up a poncho JIC. It’s Tennessee. It’s September. Do we need to say more?
