Join Christie Tarleton of The Farmer’s Florist and Leila Gianetti of Patina Meadow for an immersive, hands-on workshop celebrating the beauty of early spring through floral design and history. Together, we will create a Living Spring Centerpiece, combining bulbs, foliage, moss, and seasonal flowers in a ceramic pedestal vase—an arrangement designed to bring life into your home before spring fully emerges.

As we design, we’ll explore the fascinating history of bulbs, from their early cultivation in ancient civilizations to their role as symbols of status and renewal in European history. You’ll learn about the history of Bulb importation, the Victorian tradition of forcing bulbs indoors, and the deeper meanings behind spring’s most cherished flowers.

This workshop will also provide practical guidance on how to recreate this tradition year after year, helping you welcome the season with a personal and meaningful arrangement.
