Joshua Bates Lillie, an owner of Franklin’s Lillie Mills, built Lilli House in 1894. An original feed sack hangs in the kitchen today. The home has two dining rooms, one that seats 14 and second seating eight. The Waterford crystal chandelier in the main dining room originally hung in the British consulate in Bombay. The floor-level windows in the living room have their original shutters. The current owner decorates for every holiday. If you’re in town at Halloween, this is a not-to-be-missed sight.
