Nashville Zoo

Nashville Zoo is a progressive and dynamic zoological park serving Middle Tennessee, southern Kentucky and hundreds of thousands of tourists every year.

The 200-acre facility features a variety of animals and exhibits that include Gibbon Island, Elephant Savanna, Bamboo Trail, Flamingo Lagoon and more. Kids will enjoy the Jungle Gym, the largest community-built playground in the country!

Sunday - Saturday: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Guided Tours: See the Zoo in a whole new light with a guided tour. Learn some inside information about the Zoo’s animal collection including behavioral studies, conservation initiatives, training, and diet. Guided tours last 1 to 1.5 hours and will be divided into group sizes of no more than 20.

  • African Savannah Tour – includes habitats for giraffe, red river hog and meerkat.
  • Bamboo Trail Tour – includes habitats for clouded leopard, red panda, Bengal tiger, and lemur.
