Join Chef Thomas Tuggle from 1799 and Alex Wigton from Curio brewing company for The Harpeth’s 3rd event in their Food and Drink driven educational experiences: Drink. Eat. Learn.

Chef Thomas will go through everything thing it means to BBQ. He will talk about different types of smokers, smoking materials, and tips of optimal smoking. You will learn about the difference between dry and wet smoking, types of bines and aging meats. He will also discuss the meats used in 1799 and how to source the best cuts and the drinks that pair best with them.

Alex from Curio Brewing will discuss the different styles of beer, how beer is made and the process that he follows at his Franklin brewery.

As Chef Thomas and Alex discuss the different processes, you will be able to eat some of chef’s amazing BBQ dishes and drink different a selection of curio’s beer. At the end of the event, you will get to take home a Bottle of House Made Barbeque sauce, a Bottle of 1799 BBQ Spice Rub and a 32oz Gro
