This document describes the Williamson County Convention and Visitors Bureau (hereafter referred to as WCCVB) policy regarding personal information, site security, communication and site usage of visitfranklin.com and all other sites operated by the WCCVB. Use of the website signifies your agreement to the terms and conditions of use set forth in this document. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or otherwise use this website.

Collection of Personal Information

We at the WCCVB respect your privacy. On occasion we ask for personal data on this website. The information is used to fulfill requests such as brochures by mail or to use special features of the site such as the media gallery. By voluntarily providing personal information, you are consenting to the collection and use of your personal information in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy.

You may choose not to use any service that requires the use of your personal information in a manner not described in this Privacy Policy. Your use of VisitFranklin.com, or any other WCCVB online services will be considered as your consent to the use of your personal information in the way described.

As a matter of policy your e-mail address will not be sold, rented, or shared with any other business or organization. Users that have checked one of our e-mail request buttons opting to receive communications from us, may, from time to time, receive travel information, updates about new website features and other information relating to Franklin (and Williamson County, Tennessee). If you wish to be removed from our e-lists, click on the unsubscribe link. Please allow one week for our list to be updated.

Meeting and Tour Planners

Information provided by meeting planners and other travel professionals is reviewed by WCCVB staff to follow up on requests and develop future business. Events booked in Franklin (and Williamson County, Tennessee) could be displayed on the WCCVB Convention Calendar unless that event is specifically marked confidential. If a meeting is confidential it is our policy not to list it on any distributed information. The WCCVB also uses provided information for internal purposes such as e-mail contact.

Security of Personal Information

We exercise reasonable care to protect your non-public personal information. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be one hundred percent secure. So while we strive to protect your non-public personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us or receive from us. WCCVB reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, add or remove any portion of this Agreement, in whole or in part, at any time. WCCVB may change, suspend or discontinue any aspect of the website at any time, including the availability of any website feature, database, or content. WCCVB may also impose limits on certain features and services or restrict your access to parts or all of the website without notice or liability. Social Media Comments

Engaging in online converstations about the WCCVB, Williamson County, and #FranklinTN are an absolute joy for the entire WCCVB team. As we look to tell this great community’s story we reserve the right to delete, ban and block any user who posts potentially harmful, rude, or outright hateful speech in any online comment or forum. It’s our goal to create spaces for and sponsor thoughtful conversation considerate of all points of view inclusive of every person, place and thing which make this community wonderful.
