FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Visit Franklin has added Jenna Townsend to its sales department staff in the role of Sales & Service Coordinator. Townsend will manage and coordinate meetings and event services for meeting, event, and sports planners hosting events throughout Williamson County. Townsend will also serve as a liaison between Visit Franklin and its partners, venues, and attractions.
“We are fortunate to have someone with the range of event and conference coordination experience that Jenna brings,” said Visit Franklin Director of Sales Brendan Johansen. “She’ll be able to provide a level of service to our client’s meetings, events, and tournaments that will result in more memorable experiences for their attendees while making the planning process smooth and enjoyable for planners bringing events to Williamson County.”
Prior to joining Visit Franklin, Townsend was a conference coordinator with Gaylord Hotels. Working as a liaison between outside groups planning events at Gaylord Opryland Resort, and the various departments at the resort Townsend would oversee the execution of each client’s vision for events at the resort. Townsend is a 2018 graduate of The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where she earned a degree in business marketing. During her collegiate career, she worked as an event marketing intern with Erlanger Health Systems to coordinate and plan on-site operations of events and assist with large-scale, non-profit community events.
