FRANKLIN, Tenn. – The holiday season is here! Festivals, parades, tree lightings and shop-til-you-drop deals are in full swing throughout Franklin and the unique communities of Williamson County. We’ve got the rundown on what’s going on.

Santa Claus is making daily appearances at the CoolSprings Galleria now through Christmas eve. When he’s not feeding his reindeer, you can visit with him at Center Court 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and noon to 6 p.m. on Sundays. But there’s more! On Tuesday evenings from now until Dec 1st, bring your pets to have their photos taken with Santa.

Christmas parades are a time-honored tradition enjoyed by the whole family. The Franklin Christmas Parade will take place on December 5th at 10am. The wacky and whimsical Leiper’s Fork Christmas Parade will follow on December 12th at 2pm. The annual Dickens of a Christmas street festival in historic downtown Franklin will bring thousands of visitors to Main Street December 12th and 13th from 10am to 5pm with Charles Dickens’ inspired characters, dancers, and entertainers.

As the season comes to a close, celebrate the New Year at the Franklin Theatre with the Cab Calloway Orchestra’ concert at 6 pm and dance party at 9:30 p.m. Venture into Nashville to ring in the New Year with thousands of your closest friends at the Jack Daniel’s Bash on Broadway. The event promises stellar entertainment, stunning fireworks, and tons of fun.
