July Art Scene at the Franklin Visitor Center

Location: Historic Downtown Franklin

Date: July 5

Time: 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Art Scene includes dozens of sites that host artisans and live music, or serve complimentary refreshments for guests to enjoy from 6 – 9 p.m. It’s a great (and free!) way to celebrate local craftsmanship and to appreciate a variety of art mediums.

This month the Visitor Center will feature Blake Wylie, a talented tin-type photographer! He specializes in the Wet Plate Collodion photographic process, known for creating traditional tintype and artistic ambrotype portraits. Working primarily from his home studio in Franklin, TN, he offers an immersive photography experience that allows clients to see and be a part of the entire process if they desire. He creates classic portraits and unique artistic creations.
