Appalachian Roots Herbal & Healing Conference is a unique gathering that brings together herbalists, healers, and wisdom keepers to celebrate and explore the rich heritage of Appalachian plant medicine, folk healing, and magick. Hosted by the Sewanee School of Herbal Medicine in the heart of Tennessee, this immersive event invites participants to connect with the time-honored practices of Southern Appalachia, passed down through generations of Granny Women, rootworkers, and wise folk.

Over the course of the conference, attendees will engage in hands-on workshops, plant walks, and healing rituals, learning how to wildcraft native herbs, create remedies rooted in folk tradition, and integrate magickal practices into their healing work. Expert speakers will share insights into the historical and cultural significance of Appalachian herbalism, while also offering modern applications for community wellness and personal empowerment.
