General’s Retreat

Although the family home was built in 1919, Captains Quarters and Generals Retreat, the two outbuildings located behind the original home, were built in 1970 as an office suite and guest home. Both Captains Quarters and Generals Retreat can be rented to accommodate up to 6 people!
This guest home is elegantly appointed and as soon as you enter you feel welcomed! All ages will love the extra touches of this charming home away from home.
Enjoy the view of the historic property from the screened in porch and large outdoor patio. The patio is perfect for family cookouts and includes a gas grill and grilling utensils. Separate laundry room with stackable washer/dryer and dressing room with a desk for games, office use or preparing for a night on the town. The side yard is ideal for families with children of any age to play badminton or corn hole. Stroll along sidewalks to view historic properties to Jim Warren Park (2 blocks), Historic West Main (2 blocks) or downtown Franklin (6 blocks).
