About Bluegrass Along the Harpeth

Started in 1991 to honor hometown Grand Ole Opry legends Sam and Kirk McGee, Bluegrass Along the Harpeth celebrates the roots of old-time music, brought to life year after year by passionate musicians and dancers. Visitors get to enjoy top bluegrass bands, watch talented musicians compete in individual instrument and band contests, and explore a variety of food and craft vendors, making it a true celebration of music, community, and tradition. Proceeds benefit the Williamson County Cultural Arts Commission.
