Leiper’s Fork Distillery

Location: Leiper’s Fork

Leiper’s Fork Distillery is an artisan distillery working to bring back the history and heritage of small-batch whiskey production to Williamson County. The distillery crafts premium spirits using mainly local ingredients and limestone-filtered water to create superior spirits with a signature taste. Leiper’s Fork Distillery is characterized primarily by a low volume/low impact concept of production. They are excited and honored about bringing back a lost art and industry to a county that has always put its history and heritage at the forefront.

The retail and tasting rooms at Leiper’s Fork Distillery are housed in a historic log home originally built in 1829 by one of Tennessee’s early settlers. The cabin was painstakingly restored and renovated to its original state with large wood burning fireplaces and beautiful poplar logs.

Middle Tennessee has a rich, but nearly forgotten, history of distilling whiskey. The team at Leiper’s Fork Distillery is proud to usher in a new era of distilling in Williamson County. Today, the landscape of distilling locally mimics that of the 1850s, when small batch, locally owned distilleries were producing quality spirits from local ingredients. For Leiper’s Fork Distillery, it’s an exciting time of renaissance in whiskey production!
