The Franklin Rodeo

Since 1949, the Franklin Rodeo has been a highlight of May, bringing thrilling broncos, powerful bulls, and fast-paced barrel racing to downtown Franklin. Packed with energy and Southern charm, this classic rodeo not only entertains but also gives back, with a portion of proceeds supporting local non-profits.

Join the fun annually in mid-May. As one of the longest-running, largest rodeos east of the Mississippi, it features three nights of competition. Hours are typically 7 p.m.– 9:45 p.m. each evening.

Presented by the Franklin Noon Rotary Club, the Franklin Rodeo has been a community favorite for over 70 years. This three-night event attracts more than 18,000 fans each year for thrilling rodeo action and live entertainment. Over the decades, the rodeo has raised millions of dollars to support local causes, from college scholarships to medical care, making a lasting impact on Franklin and Williamson County.
