FRANKLIN, Tennessee—Visit Franklin has announced the upcoming launch of its newest digital passport, Farms & Fields: An Agritourism Trail. Launching September 15, 2025, this free, mobile-exclusive passport invites visitors and locals alike to explore the rich agricultural heritage of Williamson County. From petting baby goats and strolling through apple orchards to sipping cider and shopping at open-air farmers’ markets, the trail highlights immersive farm experiences for all ages and seasons.
The Farms & Fields Trail connects users with a curated selection of local farms and markets that showcase the county’s legacy of land stewardship and authentic Southern hospitality. Trail stops include Morning Glory Orchard, Noble Springs Dairy, Gentry’s Farm, Hatcher Family Dairy, Coleman Valley Alpaca Farm, Young Harvest Farm, Pinewood Christmas Tree Farm, and markets such as the Franklin, Nolensville, and Westhaven Farmers Markets.
The passport is hosted on the Bandwango platform and provides an app-free, user-friendly experience. After registering online, users receive a digital pass via text or email that can be saved to their phone’s home screen. At each participating stop, users simply check in using their phone. Those who complete five or more check-ins can redeem a complimentary leather coaster at either of the Franklin Visitor Centers, located downtown and inside The Factory at Franklin. Beginning today, an early interest sign-up is available at VisitFranklin.com, where the pass will be automatically sent to those who sign up when the full trail launches, September 15.
