The Franklin Band Songwriter Night

Join The Franklin Band for an unforgettable evening of music, stories, and community at our annual Songwriter Showcase & Silent Auction on Saturday, August 8, 2026. Doors open at 6:00 PM for silent auction shopping and an exclusive VIP experience, with the showcase beginning at 7:00 PM. Hosted by Jesse James of 103.3’s Jesse James Morning Show, the evening will feature Grammy Award-winning songwriter Gordon Kennedy and acclaimed songwriters Neil Medley and Steve Moakler, along with opening performances by artists Carter Windham, Collins Horton and Ben Kadlecek. You’ll hear the stories behind songs recorded by Eric Clapton, Peter Frampton, Bonnie Raitt, Don Henley, Stevie Nicks, Garth Brooks, Ricky Skaggs, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Alison Krauss, Luke Bryan, Jake Owen, Miranda Lambert, Jason Aldean, Kid Rock, Jon Pardi, and MANY more! Proceeds from the event support The Franklin Band and help provide needed instruments, instrument repairs, and educational opportunities for its student musicians throughout the year.
