FRANKLIN, Tenn. – The Williamson County Convention and Visitors Bureau is excited to welcome three new events from Acklen Park Productions; Beer Bacon & Bourbon, Franklin Hot Air Balloon Festival, and BRAMBLE to Franklin in 2016.

“We are thrilled to have these three events coming to Franklin,” said Ellie Westman Chin, President & CEO of the Williamson County Convention and Visitor Bureau. “Previous events from Acklen Park Productions show they know how to produce fun, inviting events and we look forward to the same with Beer, Bacon, & Bourbon, the Franklin Hot Air Balloon Festival and BRAMBLE.”

The first, Beer Bacon & Bourbon will take place Saturday, March 5, at The Factory at Franklin. The Saturday evening social event will feature top local craft brewed beers, a myriad of bacon themed hor ‘doeuvres and the finest southern bourbon. It will also host a first-of-its-kind local home brew exhibition, called the “Tennessee Home Brew Exhibition,” which will give guests the opportunity to try home brewed beers from across the state of Tennessee and award a “people’s choice” winner. Tickets to Beer Bacon & Bourbon are $75 and can be purchased online at beerbaconbourbontn.com.

Saturday, May 14, the Franklin Hot Air Balloon Festival will take place at Westhaven. This event is destined to become one of Franklin’s top family-friendly events and will provide an affordable, fun opportunity for the whole family. The Franklin Hot Air Balloon Festival, running from 3-9 p.m., will include craft vendors, live music, food trucks, a KidZone and will conclude with a spectacular hot air balloon glow at dusk.
