FRANKLIN, Tenn. – As the calendar turns to February and Valentine’s Day approaches, the five-day Love, Americana Style celebration in Franklin will by highlighted by events such as a Puppy Love photo booth and pet adoptions from the Williamson County Animal Shelter at the Visitor’s Center, Thursday, February 11. Now topping 50 events, local live music will also be a staple at locations across Franklin during Love, Americana Style.
Local restaurants and shops will have something special as well for everyone to celebrate. The full line-up of performances, retail specials, and participating restaurants can be found at VisitFranklin.com/love.
In addition, to live music, shopping, and dining, people will also have the opportunity to step back into Franklin’s rich history at the Williamson County Archives & Museum. Valentines Day memorabilia from Williamson County will be on display along with reproductions of vintage Valentine’s Day cards that can be purchased.
Westhaven is also offering the opportunity to share the Valentine’s Day love with the men and women of our armed forces. Their “Send Some Love to the Troops” campaign allows people to send a Valentine’s note of love and appreciation to soldiers stationed overseas. Drop off locations are located at the Westhaven Realty Offices, The Franklin Theatre, and the Franklin Visitors Center through February 12, and more information can be found on the Send Some Love to the Troops website.
Love, Americana Style will run February 10-14 with a different theme for each day that many of the entertainment venues, restaurants, and retail locations have planned special offerings around. All the events of Love, Americana Style can be followed on social media through the hashtag #AmericanaLove, along with dedicated hashtags for each day’s theme.
