It’s never too early to start buying gifts for the holidays—particularly if you want the best selection! Franklin and the surrounding communities of Williamson County have some of the best shopping options in the state, and stores are stocking their shelves now for the season of giving. Here are some of our favorite gift options for everyone on your list.

Lemon Gift Shop

Lemon Gift Shop was voted best gift shop in California’s Bay Area year after year, then the store’s owner, Sara Weymouth, decided to move with her family to Tennessee. Now, we get to reap the benefits! Lemon Gift Shop is a one-stop shop for gifts sure to delight everyone on your list. Located at The Factory at Franklin, the store showcases high quality brands personally curated by Sara herself, including these stoneware trees, which can make any room in the house more festive. They’re just $18 for the eight-inch trees or $14 for the 5 ½-inch trees, and they come in dark and light colors.

nellamoon

Fashion entrepreneur Arielle St. Pé brings her talent and artistry to historic downtown Nolensville at nellamoon, a stylish boutique offering clothing, jewelry, gifts, and divinely scented, hand-poured candles that have attracted the attention of some of Nashville’s biggest names. Arielle’s candles include seasonal options with names like holiday love, merry christmas, holiday bourbon, and this season’s greetings candle, which includes scents of nutmeg, cinnamon, clove, musk, and juniper and is available for $36.

Rooted from Yarrow Acres

Rooted from Yarrow Acres is a decades-old Main Street staple and truly unique gardening gift store, offering stylish-yet-functional gardening tools and acessories, memorable home decor, unusual indoor plants, and gardening advice and tips for all who ask, from the novice buying her first houseplant to the master gardener. For giftees who love greenery, consider this Rooted Terrarium, a beautiful, self-sustaining garden created by employees to your specifications. No watering is necessary, so terrariums make a perfect holiday gift. The cost ranges from $50-$200 depending on size.

Bink’s Outfitters

Brandon Binkley was so committed to his vision of selling top-of-the-line outdoor gear and accessories that he took a risk and started his business with $400 he borrowed from a check cashing store. He used the money to buy high-quality camping gear and sell it online. Brandon’s gamble paid off: By 2003, he was able to open his first brick-and-mortar location, which he named Bink’s Outfitters. The store has now expanded to four locations, including one in downtown Franklin that’s been serving customers since 2007. Bink’s is committed to sustainable, environmentally-friendly products from brands like Patagonia, Columbia, and Ugg, as well as local brands like Volunteer Traditions. And Brandon makes sure the store is always on top of the trends. One gift option employees predict will be popular this holiday season is Vuori’s performance joggers. With a comfortable fit and soft, premium fabric, these joggers are perfect for men and women of all ages to enjoy this winter. Available in an array of colors and styles, they’re great for relaxing at home, heading to the coffee shop, or as your go-to travel attire. The joggers retail for $94-$128 dollars.

Sunday Night Dinner

When friends Jen Cook and Tiffany Roach opened Spring Hill’s Sunday Night Dinner in 2022, they drew inspiration from the big family dinners held by Jen’s extended family every Sunday night. It’s no surprise, then, that while the store offers lots of gift and home decor options, Jen and Tiffany are known for their ability to help customers create the perfect tablescape for their home. You can also choose or design your own table, custom made by Jen’s husband, Daniel. As for gift ideas, we’re loving the cozy ambience created by this lovely lighted terrarium; it’s perfect for the winter season, even after the holidays have ended! It retails for $149.

Franklin Farmers Market

Did you know that the Franklin Farmers Market is open year-round, rain or shine? That makes it the perfect place to go for a thoughtfully curated gift basket filled with local foods, crafts, and baked goods from more than 100 on-site vendors. Choose from nourishing containers of Nashville-based Remedy Bone Broth, honey from Kelley’s Berry Farm in Castalian Springs, BBQ sauce made by Tennessee chef Duane Paul, or sockeye salmon steaks from Wild Alaska Salmon and Seafood, plus locally made jewelry, soaps, baked goods, and much more!

Props Antiques

Leiper’s Fork has several fantastic shops for holiday shopping, but the drive is worth it for the stocking stuffers at Props Antiques alone! Owners Klint and Cindy Griffin love exploring the backroads of the South in their hunt for Americana-style antiques; stepping into Props feels like returning to a simpler, homier time in our nation’s history. Props’ stocking stuffers evoke that same style of nostalgia. Choose from bins of old-fashioned toys, scented candles, artisan-made items, unique jewelry, small-batch chocolate, unique candies and foods, and much more.

White’s Mercantile

In 2013, singer-songwriter Holly Williams opened White’s Mercantile, hoping to modernize the general store concept with an impeccably curated selection of gifts, jewelry, pet accessories, books, home decor, and much more. Named for her grandparents, who once owned a mercantile in Louisiana in the late 1800s, White’s now boasts five locations, including one in downtown Franklin. At White’s Mercantile, you’ll find unique gift options you simply won’t see anywhere else, including this large, everyday carryall. Durably constructed with waterproof lining, it’s made to last at least eight years. Whether you’re hauling groceries, items for your workplace, or baby supplies, the bag can carry over 100 pounds of whatever you need. The Franklin Market Bag costs $78.

Franklin Visitor Center

Fans of our historic town will adore the Franklin, TN t-shirts available at the Franklin Visitor Center. Men’s and women’s styles are both available and prices range from $29-$35.

Graze Craze

The popular trend of graze boards at gatherings has been turned into a business concept, with a new location right here in Franklin. At Graze Craze, customers work with their own ‘Grazologist’ to create graze boards that are both attractive and delicious, and locals are raving about the results. Graze boards can be ordered for a large party or for your own personal snacking pleasure, and Graze Craze even offers local delivery during store hours. For your next holiday get-together, consider the signature “Gone Grazey Platter,” filled with a variety of cured meats, cheeses, fruits, vegetables, and a little something sweet as well. Large boards are $185, medium boards are $155, and small boards are $120.

Tin Cottage

A Franklin staple since 1999, Tin Cottage quickly became known as “the happy place” for its focus on lighthearted gifts, apparel, and home decor. Owners Greg and Marianne DeMeyers think of their store as more of a living room for the community and say their one of their greatest joys is seeing their customers smile and laugh. With plenty of local-themed merchandise options, Tin Cottage has just the right gift for the Franklin fans on your list, including this unique Harlinsdale Farm ornament. Made in the USA, it’s an ode to Harlinsdale Farm and the beautiful countryside of Williamson County. The ornament is three dimensional and perfectly twinkles with the tree lights, retailing at $25.

Sir Massage

For years, most spa treatments have focused largely on women and their needs. Now, that’s changing as businesses have started focusing on pampering men. Nowhere is that more evident than at Sir Massage, a Brentwood spa offering services customized for businessmen, along with a complimentary bourbon bar. Treat the esteemed executive in your life to some much-needed rest and relaxation with a relaxing massage; service prices range from $225 to $1000, and gift cards are available.

Fork of the South

Inspired by owners Steve and Stef Gorman’s love of Leiper’s Fork and the South, Fork of the South General Store partners with more than 85 makers and artisans to offer thoughtful gifts for babies and kids, gardeners, party hosts, and more. Located at The Factory at Franklin, Fork of the South includes cozy button-downs from Franklin Flannels; a hat bar with customizable trucker hats for men, women, and kids; lots of Tennessee Vols gear; handcrafted jewelry from the mothers behind Ethic Goods; and more. One of our favorite gift options for the holiday season is this this upcycled stadium bag, featuring authentic Louis Vuitton leather and crafted by a local veteran! It’s perfect for adding a touch of luxury to your next concert or game day and costs $120 dollars.

Mercantile 1858

This locally owned home decor and gift boutique has locations in Arrington and Franklin. At Mercantile 1858, every product tells a story, including these luxurious chenille throws handmade by Nashville nurse Stefani Skoglund. Stefani has a passion for making the chunky knit blankets, which have become a favorite of local celebrities; one can even be seen on the cover of Kathy Lee Gifford’s book It’s Never Too Late! Made with wool-free chenille yarn, they’re both soft and durable and perfect for people with pets or wool allergies. The throws are available in three colors; small throws are $75, and large throws are $149.
